Little Dixie Farm
My name is Rachel and my husband, Bryan and I are the farmers. We do everything together with the help of our kids. Until last year we didn’t even own a tractor! When I was 14 I grew my first sunflowers. I’ve been growing things ever since. Everywhere we’ve lived we’ve had a garden. In 2017 we bought a small agriculture zoned property and started working towards making it into a designated place to grow flowers.
This past year was our second year bringing our flowers to the market. We mostly sell out of our own little onsite farm stand, right here to our own friendly neighbors and farm supporters.
We love what we do and we love being our local flower farmers. We stand for all things local, farm and fresh.Bring your flowers home
We Offer Flowers Through:
On Farm Stand
All my life I wanted a farm. As I have grown older the idea of having a piece of land to grow and bloom on has become more and more important to me. Moving from a dream to a goal. Now it is reality. We’re really doing it! It is something my husband and I and our kids have worked hard for. Now we work hard AT it. Our motto is bloom where you’re planted because although I dreamt of having small micro farm, I never really imagined it would be in the hot fry dessert of southern Utah. Yet, here we are…making it work and having so much fun and learning real life lessons along the way.
On our farm we are growing roughly 2,500 square feet of flowers. Our main focus is on heat loving flowers…especially the many varieties of sunflowers. We also have a milk cow, 5 little milk goats, chickens and bees. We are family owned, family operated, first generation flower farmers. Blooming’ in the desert.
