Timpanogos Flower Farm
We have been in our current location for almost 30 yrs and have slowly been creating a fun place for our kids and grandkids to come to as well as more space to grow flowers. It’s been sad watching many of the local farms and open space disappear, but Timpanogos is there everyday watching over us, just as she did for my ancestors who were some of the first to settle Midway. I try to always remember how much harder they had it (especially when I’m battling grasshoppers!) and to try to be just as resilient as they were.
We have been working hard growing many different plants to help keep local pollinators happy and do our best to grow sustainably and follow organic guidelines.
While it can be tricky growing in our higher altitude and shorter growing season, we have always loved a challenge. A high tunnel now allows us some protection in the spring and fall and has been a welcome addition!
Flowers can help people feel happier and that in itself is reason to grow them.
