About the event
Britin Van Brocklin, UCFFA Treasurer: Britin is an urban flower grower and accountant. Her mother would always cut flowers from the garden to bring inside throughout the summer or decorate for a party. So Britin naturally had a small flower garden to cut from once having her own home. After hours of research she finally bought her first seeds and supplies to start her cut flower garden business. Her favorite part about growing is being able to teach her children about hard work and brightening others lives through the flowers they grow.
Melanie Stock, UCFFA Grant Committee Chair: Melanie is an Assistant Professor at Utah State University in Logan, UT. Her research focuses on cut flower crops and applied physics. In her free time, she’s an avid urban homesteader and enjoys jogging with her dog.
