Ben Hartman is the owner of Clay Bottom Farm, a specialty crop farm in Goshen Indiana. He is the author of four books on lean farming, including The Lean Farm, winner of the prestigious Shingo Award. In 2017 he was appointed to the Grist 50, a list of emerging green leaders in the United States.
Ben farms on just 1/3-acre with his wife Rachel and a small team, including their two sons.
