Join us for the 5th annual Utah Flower Day! Celebrate the summer flower harvest and connect with our Utah flower farmers.

Enter our Floral Design Competition

Celebrate the beauty and creativity of Utah-grown flowers by participating in the Utah Flower Day Floral Design Competition.

Throughout the month of August, floral designers, florists, farmer-florists, flower farmers, students, and flower lovers are invited to create and share a floral design made with 100% locally grown flowers, foliage, and botanical materials. Designs may be large or small, formal or casual, but every fresh botanical ingredient must be Utah-grown.

To enter, post a photo or reel of your design on Instagram by August 27. Tag @utahflowerfarms, use the hashtags #UtahFlowerDayDesignContest and #UtahFlowerDay2026, and tag or list all local farms or sources for the flowers and foliage used in your design.

Public voting will take place on Utah Flower Day, Saturday, August 29, and winners will receive prize packages featuring UCFFA sponsors: Utah Flower Market, Snuck Farm and Heritage Mums.

This competition is a chance to highlight Utah’s incredible local flower farms, support designers who choose locally grown flowers, and show what is possible when we design with the flowers growing right here in our own communities.

Three Sprouts Flower Farm

At Three Sprouts Flower Farm we are elated to invite you to our farm! Our Utah Flower Day Celebration will be an open house beginning at 6:30 pm.  At 6:45 I will lead a tour around the farm to candidly share my favorite varieties, tips on how to grow dahlias and the behind the scene activities necessary to produce our exceptional product.  

After your field exploration, you can visit our optional bouquet bar. There you can design your own bouquet with freshly picked flowers.

Refreshments are generously being provided by the Utah Cut Flower Farms Association and can be enjoyed while mingling with your event companions and other flower enthusiasts.

I am also hosting the grand opening to the Farm Stand I opened in Farmington.  I pushed it out to the weekend of Utah Flower Day so I could have that as part of it!  Someone in the community has these really cool 8 ft tall tulips that we will have there.

Saltwater Ranch Flower Farm

Saltwater Ranch Flower Farm is creating a free, drive-through farm experience designed specifically for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and others with limited mobility who may not otherwise be able to enjoy a flower farm. On Thursday, August 27th at 7 PM, guests will drive through the farm to see the animals, enjoy live local music, order a handcrafted specialty soda prepared by our Junior Farm Crew, and receive a custom bouquet made with flowers grown on our farm—all without leaving their vehicle. This event not only makes the beauty of Utah-grown flowers more accessible, but also provides meaningful leadership and customer service opportunities for local youth participating in our Junior Farm Crew program.

Goodrich Gardens

Goodrich Gardens will be hosting a friendly flower arranging competition @ 9 am on Saturday, August 29th. Arranging begins at 9 am, judging at 10 am

$20 entry fee includes up to 20 stems from a huge variety of cut flowers, refreshments, and door prizes. Bring your own vase/container or use one of our mason jars. Amateur instructions are available upon request. The contest is intended to be low-key and fun. We want to amaze you with Utah flowers! Even if you aren't competing, stop by, get some refreshments, say hi, and admire some beautiful blooms.

Ashley’s Flower Farm

"Bouquet Bar & Sweets" on August 29th from 6-9 pm. Tickets will become available soon on our website and are required to participate. No walk ins.

Price is $40 or $50 depending on what size of bouquet ticket they choose and there is an add on option to add a friend for $10 to share making a bouquet.

Guest will arrive at the farm, choose a vase, borrow a pair of snips and then head to the tables of buckets of flowers and fillers and choose which flowers speak to them.

After choosing their flowers, guests can sit down at the tables right there in the flowers and enjoy delicious treats and mingle in the rows of flowers till dark.- It's a well deserved escape!

Westfall Flower Farm

I am hosting a “Sip and Stroll” from 6-8 PM where people can come for a free lemonade and cookie and stroll through the garden.  will be doing a tour at 6:15 and 7:15 for those interested in a tour. This is a free event.  Guests can park on Palisade Dr. and walk to the end of the street. If Palisade Dr. is full they can park on 900 E. and walk up the “Private Drive”. (There is a bubble just north of the private drive.)
