This project compares stock grown under a high tunnel with stock grown in raised beds under shade cloth. Early and later transplanting successions will be evaluated for bloom timing and marketable stem length to identify methods that produce stock in late spring or early summer. Success will be measured by the proportion of plants producing blooms on stems at least 18 inches long.
