- Baileyâs Blooms | Utah Cut Flower Farm Association
I absolutely love to "Spread Sunshine" to those around me. Although I have been growing dahlias for over 12 years, my passion in flower farming started 5 years ago. I quickly realized how many others around me had the same passion as I did, and "Bailey's Blooms" was born. I absolutely love every classification of dahlias and grow all 42, although I am passionate about Waterlily forms, balls, formal decorative and larger AA forms. We at Bailey's Blooms love hosting Floral arranging parties, hosting youth groups, teaching at Thanksgiving Point, The Utah Dahlia Society, running fund raisers for local charities and sharing all things dahlias. Most of which I do for free to educate and share my knowledge to those who are eager to learn. Baileyâs BloomsAnn BaileyBailey's Blooms is nestled in Utah County between Utah Lake and the majestic Wasatch Mountains in Lehi, Utah. We are a licensed Nursery through the Utah State Agriculture. We have lived on our small 11 acre farm in Lehi, Utah for 30 years. We grow luscious green alfalfa, mesmerizing dahlias, and many beautiful cut flowers and fillers. My passion is, "Spreading Sunshine" by gifting flower arrangements throughout businesses and individuals in different communities. I sell my dahlia tubers, pot tuber clumps, seeds and cuttings to support my love of giving to others to lift their spirits and make them smile. I have been growing dahlias for twelve years now and have been selling cut flowers, tubers and cuttings for 5 years. I sell these gorgeous dahlias by the stem to local florists and wedding designers alike. We grow over 400 different varieties and all classifications and forms of dahlias. - Dream Acre Flower Farm | Utah Cut Flower Farm Association
Former 7th grade Language Arts and Spanish teacher turned flower farmer. I started selling flowers to pay for my own seed buying addiction, and it all snowballed from there. My main objective is to help people find delight and wonder in flowers by putting them together in new ways, growing unusual varieties that aren't available at traditional florists, and educating the public through social media and through teaching community courses at Snow College.Dream Acre Flower FarmTorrie MeidellOur first three years of farming, we farmed exclusively on our half-acre property, but after seeing our business continually grow each year, my husband and I went full time with our flower farm in 2023 and rented more land to grow on. We grow a wide variety of focal flowers, fillers, and foliage in order to offer deluxe bouquet subscriptions and wholesale to florists and to the public from April to September. My favorite flowers are snapdragons, and we currently grow around 25-30 varieties of snaps each year, on top of the more expected blooms (sunflowers, lisis, dahlias, zinnias, tulips, ranunculus) as well as more unexpected stems. < Back Edit My Profile Dream Acre Flower Farm Our first three years of farming, we farmed exclusively on our half-acre property, but after seeing our business continually grow each year, my husband and I went full time with our flower farm in 2023 and rented more land to grow on. We are a small evolving farm, easy to find in Provo on West Center Street. Stunning, romantic flowers have become a passion for us to grow these last several years. We are happy to offer our local fresh beauties for sale with the Utah Flower Market, as well as here, by appointment, on the farm.Sunspring Ranch & Flower FarmShery GoodmanWe have been at our Provo location for almost 40 years but have greatly evolved as we progress into our more "mature" side of life. From way too many horse happenings and other animal adventures, we have scaled way back in order to make room and focus more on the flora side of growing & marketing fresh cut flowers. As our flowers are becoming the center of attention at the farm, we still have a hard time "putting all of our eggs in one basket" so I'm sure there will be other happenings going on as well.Utah FLower Market < Back Edit My Profile Sunspring Ranch & Flower Farm We have been at our Provo location for almost 40 years but have greatly evolved as we progress into our more "mature" side of life. First thing to know about me is one of my biggest passions is flowers. Growing flowers, arranging flowers, and teaching about flowers make me excited. My passion for flowers began when I had the opportunity to attend a study abroad in London. I always knew flowers were beautiful, but when I was in London I was amazed by the charming landscapes full of flowers. After, my study abroad I became a teaching assistant at BYU for Floral Design and started my own floral company. Upon graduating I spent a year working in floral wholesale followed by event planning. I spent many years doing this and the opportunity came up to apply to be the floral design adjunct professor at BYU. In order to apply I needed to have a masters degree. I attended Washington State University and received my degree in Agriculture. While working on my degree I knew I wanted to start a flower farm and bring flowers to the community around me. Artisanal BloomsBrianna WellsAfter spending over 15 years in the floral industry creating beautiful events it was time to learn more. While I still do lots of events I decided having a flower farm would create a beautiful atmosphere for my 3 children. Having them help me grow all of our flowers from seed, plant them, take care of them, and arrange them has brought us so many fun memories that I want to continue to make at our farm. We love having a farm that brings so many people together to enjoy our beautiful secret garden while being outside. < Back Edit My Profile Artisanal Blooms After spending over 15 years in the floral industry creating beautiful events it was time to learn more.
